Itstrainingtime
Update from Maytown while I'm at work: Wife: "Does our air conditioning really need to be running today?" Me: "If the air conditioning is running, then obviously the temp inside is warm enough for it to run." (I'm waiting for the "can I please open the windows?" question next) 1
Itstrainingtime
Ruh roh...paging @Blizzard of 93 straight from MU's warminsta himself! (1/2) A weak disturbance near the base of an upper-level trough over southeastern Canada will pivot through NY and PA on Wednesday. Expect isolated showers to erupt during the afternoon/evening hours, and I can't even rule out some #graupel due to the presence of cold air aloft.. (2/2) The freezing level on Wednesday will only be about 5,000 ft. above the ground, and rapidly ↓ temps with ↑ height indicate an unstable atmosphere. Graupel forms when supercooled water droplets accumulate and freeze on falling snowflakes and will be most likely N/W of I-81.

Definitely different. Even the thunderstorms. The monsoon storms will often times move north to south or east to west. They form over the mountains and then get drawn down into the desert by the intense heat. 17 minutes ago, canderson said: I’ve enjoyed your Jeep off road videos. You missed out some good PA trails! Thanks! I can't wait to do Schnebly Hill and Broken Arrow in Sedona. The scenery will be fantastic! There's literally hundreds, if not thousands, of free trails out here due to the amount of free public land.

Itstrainingtime
46.2 and quite breezy at 10:40pm. Going to need the winds to die off soon if we're going to get frosty overnight.

Miller B like evolution that holds on long enough to soak the LSV by Friday AM. Here is the 7Am precip totals from Thu night. MDT does not reach 60 one day at 18Z for the entire run of the GFS. Probably not realistic but anomalous just the same.
Mount Joy Snowman
Didn’t encounter anything lower than 34 on my travels to the train station this morning. No real signs of frost, perhaps a touch if I squint hard enough through some of the low-lying rurals.
pawatch
Low of 34 agin this morning with a heavy frost on the windshield. Clear blue skies. Should be interesting to see what rain we get at the end of the week.
ChescoWx
Some areas of frost and even a few freezing temperatures in the lower spots of the county this morning. Below normal temps will continue through this last week of April. Some slight rain chances tomorrow night but rain will be likely by the weekend. Records for today: High 93 (1915) / Low 28 (1922) / Rain 1.50" (1975)
