Because 30 hours more of current trending will turn that into 37 degree rain for everyone in NC below 3000 ft elevation. Meanwhile Richmond north will bank another 5 inch event and whine about it lol.

.

This is true lol

HRRR wants to turn this from a Gulf Low into a Colorado low. Epic model battle ensuing.

Good to see the models coming into a 800 mile agreement. Maybe a final solution will show up soon.

That just doesn’t make any sense and I’m not even trying to be a weenie. If it does someone explain how

Just a few hours later it's snowing good though and the run looks better than 18z.

Tropical Tidbits got a little confused about where to put the surface low on the HRRR lolA53F9B63-43BE-4E04-B6F9-FAD857E440E4.thumb.png.41c6b186d02382ad3ecf5a43aa4e3cff.pngJoking aside though it keeps the primary along the Gulf a lot better than it did at 18z.

My wife promises it will.  She says sometime in the early hours of Sunday morning go outside and look up. I've heard that advice from her for years, but the way the models have been behaving lately I have to agree with her .

21z rap is a crush job for the upstate and northeast Georgia. Jackpot band has already dropped .3/4 inch of liquid by 8pm across i85 in SC. Rain/snow line is down to Elberton/abbeville

My biggest concern about this one is the time of day. We need it come in at night but this is the worst time of day. I know we can get accums in the daytime but its much harder. Add that to warm surface temps and it will be hard to get much. I am clouded over now and temp is 43, way too warm.
