2.34 of rain. Neighbor lost a decent size tree. Heard the crash overnight with the 2nd squall line.  Storm ranking a 6.5/10 weens.

Got 2.61" here storm total, a few small branches down, my neighbor says there were a few trees down in the area. Temp. down to 37F here.

Lol, is he calling for snow?

Lost our main snow pile, but still have some of the backup pile left - yay!

12z suite not very encouraging at all. Maybe time to come to the realization things have changed and we can't even score in a decent pattern anymore. More likely to score in a convoluted fluke regime anymore.

We just had our snowiest decade ever and we are above average to date.

Going to one up you.

0.30 addition after my 7 am measure. Had a few late bands of rain move through.

2.64 final

Getting some light snow here. That plus the small mound (about the size of a football) at the base of the driveway = white Christmas in my book.

wash and repeat for New Years Eve.  two+ inches of rain, temps in the 50's  to the 60's after this brief cold snap. I see no major snow events unfold as the cold air is bottled up in Hudson Bay for the foreseeable future. The only hope is a coastal storm after New Years day but even that will melt away in a few days if the snow accumulates

All I can say is I really tired of the severe wind storms. I have at least 2.5 years of major tree damage in my backyard from these high winds.  Two more trees were uprooted last night and branches were everywhere. If we get another soaker by next weekend with a windstorm, the ground is so saturated that even more trees will fall in our region. The ground will not stay frozen and that is a real big issue right now.  I see no below zero weather anywhere east of the MS river in the next 10 days. Even my relatives in western Wi are complaining of little snow and no cold air.
