Definitely not. .5-.75" at most.

Yeah, I'll split the difference. Took some measurements - got 1" in several places on our terrace. Elevated places (tables, chair arms).

Easy the mix line runs north south and is moving east

That's an oversimplification. It will not run north/south once the system crosses the mountains.

I'm in Western Jersey, and trying to locate the radar online, and I'm not having any luck. Would love a link to it if possible.

Light snow coming back, 27. Models have some reorganization occurring over the next couple hours so we should get the main show soon. Hoping snow growth is as good as earlier today.

18/15 winds are variable around the area but most have an E or N aspect and they're light at 0-5mph. There's only about 2/3" so far and the roads went to poop pretty quickly due to cold pavement. If you don't have to go out and drive don't. All of the rookies with summer tires are out there struggling.

Hrrr shows only snow for the remainder of the event for the Bronx and north. Manhattan briefly changes to some sleet rain mix. It’s very cold it might be all frozen. The colder and drier air over the area may push the sleet or keep it west of us for a little longer from what I see!

Once the dry slot has ended that crew transforms into the mixing line bunch.

That sleet line looks like it is making a beeline for the city and northern NJ.

It looks like it's slowed on the last few frames. Maybe it sets up there for a bit before moving in. I think we stay snow in NE Jersey till at least 6.
