...which ended when?

I’m in a lull so now lol.  In all seriousness, it’s truly one event at this point.  The “first round” was used just as forum talk to make it easier to track.

Snow finally started falling 6:25 pm just SE of Bellefonte.

After years of lurking, I'm saying hello and a big thank you to everybody on this board who helps me understand the dynamics of our amazing weather!

I got a half inch out of phase 1 which all melted off through the day. Now to see what phase 2 gives us up here. Point and click gives me 2-4 overnight and 2-4 tomorrow.

MDT ended up with 2.5 inches for round 1.

Not bad.  I would have taken the under

still all snow here 29.7f.  I hope@CarlislePaWx is right about the mix line pushing back south overnight.  This truly could be a great event down here if we can hold onto snow for several more hours

Welcome.  Hope you enjoy your stay....and bring us good luck...

We need something to change the juju around here.  Not a horrible winter, but down here in the LSV, its been pretty paltry w/ snow and having it stick around.

I agree . Good size flakes falling at a moderate rate! You can almost see every flake accumulate!

& of course I should not fail to mention...roads caved again!

Roads here are bare from as much salt as they put down earlier. It is laying on sidewalks and driveway though.

I am heading out for the next 12 hours for some fun. I report in when I need to dry off my dog Ecko  and let him warm up

Shouldn't have to dodge too much tonight. They reduced the speed limit on your backyard.

Radar has suddenly blossomed to my west - 30dBZ + stuff closing in. Looks like it's setting up an impressive band going all the way down to Johnstown. Altoona should be in it now.

I just got an alert that Cumberland is under a warning too

Yea they are continuing the warning - likely pushed alerts because they messed up the counties yet again today and had York/Lancaster with a half inch ice instead of Johnstown/Altoona
