UlsterCountySnowZ
Like I've been saying IMO the coastal is NOT happening, which is why I'd rather have this thing weaker and OTS, and allow the ULL to deepen and give us our snows The IVT is our best shot...this storm would need to come 200+ miles west within the next 24 hours to get good snows to anyone except LI AND NE Here's the deal guys, we either want a direct hit from the first wave ( which seems unlikely) or for the first wave to go OTS (way OTS, and fast) allowing the ULL to deepen... An in-between "close" but no cigar track screws us for both systems IMO

Yanksfan
After all is said and done, this will be known as the "Cam Newton Storm" to me. So much hype but in the end both of them flopped. What a waste of potential.

What a waste of potential. I agree ..potential on long Island still. .but nyc others lucky to get some light snow. .I still think go forward pattern has potential. .nyc only needs 10 more inches or so to have another 40 inch winter. .. NycStormChaser
Basically if you live north of the Raritan River in NJ and west of Long Island - it will be NO BIG DEAL the next couple of days - in fact some areas will see nothing at all. In addition this is going to be a winter to remember for sure with areas of Long Island seeing much above normal snowfall compared to some more northern inland areas seeing much less through most of Feb. Plus that WWA confined to NYC and nothing in Northern NJ worked out real good It's going to come down to where the heavy bands set up
