i will say, the weds event has trended a little wetter for the western carolinas with the runs today. limited moisture but its something.

Tuesday night should be in the teens, so that should help with the Wednesday event! That Wed event looks to be a clipper or front type of deal and that should bring fresh cold for the Friday event, in theory

The Canadian is like the NAM of the global models

00z GEFS is way south of the OP no shock there. Euro has complete EPS support.

I disagree...There is no other NAM.  The cmc has been a decent model for years.  It's always good to see what it shows on possible track.  We've been checking it for years on these sites.  It used to be we'd have to figure it out on the black and white maps.

Hmm, look like a Miller B this time from 0z Euro. SFC low transferred from SE TN/NE AL to off coast of SC. This is a major wintry hit for NW NC/SW VA/Mid-Atlantic, although I haven't got a chance to look at surface/850 temps to see if that was ice or snow.

EDIT: doesn't look too far for rest of WNC to get involved in this fun as well.

EDIT2: This is 100% a whiteout for Mid-Atlantic people.
