Historic Lake Effect Snowstorm

West Seneca looks pretty darn sweet on radar to me but I'm not from the area there could be certain terrain effects with ratios and things that I'm not aware of.

 

No, it's flat as a pancake there. Further south and east, the terrain rises.

Me and wife went for a walk. It started snowing much more heavily when we went inside. But my phone started freezing up, had to defrost it. We will be heading out again soon.

 

 

Awesome video... that's gotta at least be 5"/hour

The 1997 24 hr record of 77" in Montague was refuted by the Nws. Looks like someone will beat it today anyway.

I was wondering if that might happen! I think it belongs to Colorado right now at 76".
