I'm not sure if things are supposed to get much worse than this as it gets dark but it's been pretty disappointing so far.

I do believe the severe threat for a good portion of the metro area for tonight is over - just basically heavy downpours for the next several hours in spots

Storms are indeed on the radar, some developing practically right over me here as well, but I don't have the feeling that this will be a memorable night of severe weather. Seems like it'll be a few storms for most of us totaling an inch or so of rain.....But I guess this could change later if things get more impressive
