My NWS AFD for me now talks about a slushy inch with an essentially small, non-zero chance for 2-4 inches for Friday night.

2-4 would be a huge win for my area and west.  If that happens I'm driving west to Bennington NH (Crotched Mountain) to check it out on Sunday.  That plus the system on the ninth could break just right for SW NH in terms of getting the snow season started.

It was a mid summer run in shorts and short sleeves lol...soaked in sweat

I was in DC for a meeting in mid January 2005. People forget how warm it got I the first half of January that month. I went on a 5 miler in shorts and t and it was humid, front blew threw right before I left DC and here in Boston hours later. 10 days later we had feet on the ground that went nowhere fast.

It's warm now,,,,hopefully the last of this for awhile.
