Just close the shades until next weekend.

Usually, there's a decent event brewing that's being tracked when I had to my semi-annual week-long sales meeting in IA.  This might be the exception--at least until the end of the week.  It's frustrating to not have much moisture on the cold side like in the last frontal passage.  But perhaps this one will be different.

You will be in the 50s for at least one day, otherwise above normal and boring. Close them and take a sleeping pill. Pretty much AWT.

Not at all. There were some on here calling for a very mild week . Instead it's 40-45 by day and near 30 at night.. until Friday spikes briefly and then more cold.

Is it milder than it's been   sure..is it a mild pattern when highs are normal...no.

It's mild and boring. Spin it all you want, but by Wednesday and beyond..sleeves partially to fully rolled up. 2-4" forecast FTL. Mild and boring FTW  Hopefully the cold rain the euro op has for Friday will fulfill your needs.

Yeah it appears much of the interior..and maybe even to the coast wakes up to white ground by Saturday morning

According to the Euro all of SNE is above 0c at 850mb and the front has just cleared the area.

GFS slightly cooler but still does not look all that wintry right now except for maybe NSNE and CNE.

The dry wx this fall has blown.....solidly below normal Novi, yet all I've been able to muster a is T.

We've had a couple cutters given the unfavorable arctic/Atlantic couplet; however the general dearth of precip has likely been the main culprit in our slow onset to the weenie season.
