Colder surfaces are slowly collecting slush/snow, but it's going to be a long road at this rate. Another degree or two off the temps or heavier rates would be awesome. Looks like LI/NYC/CT are increasing in intensity on radar so it should hopefully be a show for the rest of the night.

absolutley georgous snow going on, just measured close to an inch in the front yard, I'll call it .9", still nothing on the roads. SN 33.1 degrees and dropping. finally starting to stick nicely to the grass, my guess is in this hour assuming nothing changes with the intensity we see atleast .5" more, in midwinter, this would be 1"/hr snow easily.
