superjames1992
I have class at 11 AM, so I'm going to go ahead and leave now in case there are any wrecks out there. I should be back around 1:15 PM. Hopefully, things aren't too bad, then. I don't have 4WD and the roads are still dusted white here (probably not so on the main roads, though). Jonathan
Got a REALLY nice band making its way over top of me right now. Flakes have increased in size and intensity. It might just get interesting after all here north of the border! As far as I'm concerned, this storm has already overperformed by making it over the mountains AND reaching the ground right off the bat with no virga to speak of. I'm very impressed. Then, going to pick my son up from school, head back home and watch the sleet come down. LOl you are always eating Bojangle's or waffle house. Stop making me hungry! GreensboroWx
Looking upstream over Tn the precip is blossoming....I'm getting worried about this afternoon/evening. The brief bout we saw earlier all stayed on the road/sidewalks, etc. A prolonged period of snow/sleet/frzrn is going to cause some road problems. WilkesboroDude
19 over 14 with snow cover IMBY vs. Charlotte with 29 over 9. Raysweather forecast may have good merit...of the far south-west going over to rain and the foothills staying below freezing. Don't know yet...but the earlier moisture will help future precip for some.
