Somehow I'm sure your area will manage an inch or 2..enjoy it I guess

I hate seeing you so beaten down. It's like seeing an old friend that's been ravaged by time and circumstance. You can't help but remember them in happier times. Like when they used to sculpt snowbanks and make wild accumulation projections that came true.

Was it Dryslot or Dendrite that first mentioned this possibility a couple of days ago?

At least this has been a recurring theme for several different modelszand runs

I think a few people mentioned the northern stream possibility in an unphased scenario. Unfortunately for me I'm probably too far north of the vortmax track and look to get shutout. Hopefully some of you guys get 1"+.

BOX seemed somewhat enthusiastic for some heavier squalls

VIGOROUS MID LEVEL SHORTWAVE AND ATTENDING WEAK WAVE MOVE ACROSS

THE REGION THIS EVENING. DEEPENING MOISTURE AHEAD OF THIS

SHORTWAVE AND MODEST SYNOPTIC SCALE LIFT SUGGEST SCT TO NUMEROUS

SNOW SHOWERS LATER TODAY INTO THIS EVENING AND ALL MODELS BRING

MEASURABLE QPF TO MUCH OF THE REGION. PRECIP MAY START AS RAIN

SHOWERS BUT QUICKLY CHANGE TO SNOW WITH EVAPORATIONAL COOLING AS

850 MB TEMPS ARE BELOW -5C.

THIS SHORTWAVE HAS POCKET OF -36C AIR AT 500 MB RESULTING IN MID

LEVEL LAPSE RATES INCREASING TO GREATER THAT 8C/KM WITH TOTAL

TOTALS NEAR 60. THIS IS A STRONG SIGNAL SUPPORTING CONVECTIVE

ELEMENTS THIS EVENING SO LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW SQUALLS WILL BE

POSSIBLE. IT IS ALWAYS DIFFICULT TO PIN DOWN THE AREAL COVERAGE

OF WHERE THESE MESOSCALE SNOW SQUALLS MAY DEVELOP...BUT LATEST

GUIDANCE INDICATES BULK OF ACTIVITY MAY OCCUR SOUTH OF ROUTE 2

BASED ON LOCATION OF BEST INSTABILITY PARAMETERS...TIMING 21-04Z

FROM WEST TO EAST. THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR SNOW SHOWERS/SQUALLS

DEPOSITING A QUICK INCH OR 2 OF SNOW IN A SHORT TIME...WITH BEST

CHANCE ACROSS HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF CENTRAL AND W MA.
