    KMQS (Chester County airport) - 3 miles to my southwest. As of 2:35pm: 96.8°F, DP 70.9°F, heat index 105°F. I’m becoming more confident that we’ll miss triple digits at this point. Was at the DMV in KOP earlier. That’s when I learned that indoor swamp ass is a thing. @ChescoWx - how long has it been now since KMQS last broke 100?

    Amazing we finally hit 100 and it happened in an el nino summer. After all these repeat ninas we couldn't do it. Makes no sense.

    That's probably right. PHL's heat index was 129 and dewpoint 82.

    Currently 97 here. That might do it for me for a high. Been going between 96 and 97.

    Yeah, Greenfield has sort of peaked out around 96 - 98. My house has a high of 95° so far but downtown 97°. It’s been very breezy so that might have something to do with it. Even though it is hot as hell, I’m sure there’s probably a few posters who are angered by the wind because it has not allowed us to achieve ultimate peak heat indexes.

    So is the anomaly drop in 1+2 on the CFS v2 for the rest of the summer really going to happen? Why would this happen? Everyone is talking about how crazy high the forecast for 3.4 is but if we think the model has a handle on things then 1+2 should be dropping soon.

    My dentist had season tickets and gave me a pair for a 4 pm mid-July 2001 Phillies/Yankees interleague game at the Vet. His seats were literally on the 3rd row to the right of home plate. The weather was perfect that day - warm and no humidity - truly lucked out with that. Had to leave "early" when the game went to extra innings since it was during a weekday. Just hit 100 IMBY.
