That was as low as it got. Saved by clouds and a breeze as the WAA started coming in aloft. 39° now

.CLIMATE... Multiple low temperature records were set or tied across central Pennsylvania for May 3rd: Altoona observed a low temperature of 31 degrees, breaking the previous record of 32 degrees set in 1957. Midweek rain fell apart overnight. Can’t break the drought. Yet…

I’m very frustrated with the beginning of my year so far. I dug into the statistics available in GHIN app to confirm my thoughts: 1. my par 3 scoring is abysmal 2. I’m not making any birdies 3. I’m making a ton of others from stupid penalties.

It was down to 33F at one point here in E CT, back up to 36F

It's a lot more than rain goes into that. You have to look at absorption vs run off vs evapotranspiration. We have baked all April. I only got about 55% of normal preceiptitation. Go look at the PEMN sites on pa climate website. They have soil moisture at 3-5 different depths. That really tells the story. This super El nino building is not good either Sent from my SM-S731U using Tapatalk -

That's surprising, it seems like Super Ninos are torches here. -

I am just outside of Estes and it is trending towards quite a dumping. But May has had some big storms in the past. May 17th 2017 was particularly impressive, and up here I picked up 40” over the course of 2 days. This storm likely won’t come close, but someplace in Larimer County could get 20”+ as it looks currently. i have a ton of trees on my property that I worry about with May snows, but this year that feels like an easy trade.

Yep, the last of the piled up snow/sleet just melted off along I-64 between Covington and WV line on the ends/bottoms of the 'chutes' about 10 days ago. NOT surprised there's still some in deeper hollows in Bath/Highland and surrounding areas. Nice find!

Low 44, high 68. Gorgeous early May day.
