  1. Past hour
  2. I’m closing in on an inch if you can believe it, but I might be the luckiest backyard in 50 miles. Granite Falls got hit by two tiny thundershowers that dumped for about 20 min each + everything in between.
  3. A lot of guidance showing that the beginning of May could be quite cool - possibly even double digit negative departures. Bring it!
  4. Additional rain and showers are likely tonight and tomorrow. A storm total 0.50"-1.50" rainfall with some locally higher amounts remains on track. It will also remain unseasonably cool with temperatures topping out in the middle 50s to end the weekend. Monday and Tuesday will be somewhat warmer with highs reaching the lower and middle 60s. However, another shot of rain and cooler temperatures will arrive during the middle of the week. May could also open with cooler than normal conditions. The ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly was +1.8°C and the Region 3.4 anomaly was +0.5°C for the week centered around April 15. For the past six weeks, the ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly has averaged +1.43°C and the ENSO Region 3.4 anomaly has averaged +0.15°C. El Niño conditions will likely develop during late spring or early summer. The SOI was -28.48 today. The preliminary Arctic Oscillation (AO) was -0.884 today. Based on sensitivity analysis applied to the latest guidance, there is an implied near 96% probability that New York City will have a warmer than normal April (1991-2020 normal). April will likely finish with a mean temperature near 55.2° (1.5° above normal). Supplemental Information: The projected mean would be 2.2° above the 1981-2010 normal monthly value.
  5. If any of you weirdos claim this weather is nice or whatever, I was at my older kids soccer game and it was outright miserable out, about as cold and wet as I’ve felt at one of her games in years, I will find out where you live and choke you with my bare hands. Funny thing, I played at 8:30 this morning and it was fine.
  6. This 18z NAM's a bit of a sneaky gem tomorrow... This run would exceed the MOS' that are based upon the 12z grids. Not by a lot... but W of the immediate coastal plain probably 62's, and a bit warmer yet in the deeper interior. With very light wind at times no wind, at this time of year/sun that's teeing off in sort sleeves.
  7. Should you be eating cake, celebrating your son?
  8. Successor to Derrick Henry?
  9. Forecast for an inch has become a quarter to half inch here. I will strongly take the under. No worries though- mid to late week looks promising!
  10. Last day here in fla..someone’s gonna have to pry my moist, sweaty toosh off the beach chair to get me to leave
  11. Ever heard of Google lol http://www.accidentmd.org/history.html
  12. Worse yet -- you don't read the thread. You are just copy and pasting what you said B4

  15. Thoughts and prayers. Hope you can wipe that from the memory bank.

  17. Every weekend sucks and during the week it’s glorious. How can people believe in god? I’ll never know…
  18. Also hadn’t rained in like 5000 days and my kid has prom pictures tonight outside. Lol. .
