34 snow trying to take over

At East Nantmeal today will be our 2nd below freezing day of the season and this morning was our 16th sub-freezing low. Below are the average number of each type of day at all of the Chester County Area Climate Locations. You may notice lower elevation spots in general experience more freezing lows while the relatively higher spots see more afternoon highs with below freezing temperatures.

Looks like another shot (or several) at some snow mid week through this weekend. Hopefully any rain we get on Wednesday will be minimal before it gets cold again.

it does look more promising for today of at least a light to moderate event later in the weekend and maybe something light before that later in the week but for the late weekend system - it still is more than 5 days out so If it shows up starting at 0Z tonight I will get interested and it has to show up on more than 1 model . As for the "idiots" with the weenies just put them on ignore they are the ones which BX Engine mentioned yesterday in a post....

It peaked my interest because it's similar to the recent Cfs2 and Cansips forecasts with a boundary just to our south with precip potential.

Yeah, those north and west got the snow in 2020-21. The sharp cutoff south and east showed the warmer storm tracks that season. However, in many of the areas south and east that had below normal snowfall in 2020-21, they did better in 2021-22, when many of the storm tracks were colder and closer to the coast in January 2022.

Noon report. Have 2.5 OTG, temp 31.5 DP 29.6 with light snow falling. Flakes have consistently gotten smaller in last hour, must be drying a bit upstairs.

Seems like some back building and development starting to occur in the lee. Radar will be an interesting watch for the next little bit.
