    Remember in 2009-10 we had a hecs in December and a 1-3” snow in early January and by Jan 20 some were complaining the winter was becoming a letdown.

    It's a crap shot. I like how they said Jan will be the coldest month along with the low sun angle all we need is some precip in the area. We've had some blow torch Januarys in the past so this will be refreshing if it happens...

    Oct 2023 had a 16 page general disco thread. 2024 had a 10 page thread. This October has a 6 page thread. Not the most scientific example but sure seems like weather has had extremely long stretches with nothing to talk about the past few years.
