    I was using imagebb, but some people said it was not showing up for them. So now I use Postimages — free image hosting / image upload You have to copy the hotlink to forums on the postimages site, and on the bottom right side of post under "other media", choose "insert image from url".

    Yeah looks great for the spine. I really hate how the 3K NAM is essentially useless at elevation. Watch the precip panels for any storm crossing the northern greens, the 3k just lights up the ridgelines with QPF when obviously nothing should be falling. That V shaped signature along the western slopes and into the spine on the GFS is a classic look though.

    young men are failing out of school like crazy. i know lots of them. hence the efforts to stem the flow. my friend's daughter is in med school and can practically count the males on one hand......seeing it across the board in many professions. my son finished his masters and he was the only man in his whole cohort, in a science degree.

    Nice west coast trough. Really a strong -PNA pattern there, even when the low is well to our SW. 564dm heights going into PA is not what you want to see. The Pac pattern being in a strong state, means not much fluctuation downstream in future runs.

    Greenland blocking is usually warm East/cold West in March. I thought it was some time in late April or May that it flips.

    Well, the first 'warm' day forecast was a fail. High was 35.3 degrees (at least above freezing) vs forecast of 43. A lot more clouds moved in around noon (or we'd have hit 43 easily) and temp locked right at 35 rest of day. Now down to 32.1/12.0 at 6 pm.

    Returned from Chattanooga, the lake is still frozen and there's still snow on north/east facing areas. Probably won't survive tomorrow though.
