  2. Where's our leader?? Haha @D-Money how was 18z Euro?
  3. Simple language for simple people, enjoy "plain".
  4. My son-in-law's first day back at Otis Airport Coast Guard station Falmouth!
  5. This winter as a whole was not as windy as last winter. Much colder yes, but definitely not as windy given by the much lower number of wind holds on ski lifts throughout the season. And last springs winds... Well that was awful. But deserving a nice, warm spring and actually getting one is completely different. Springs by nature lately kind of just suck here. Windy, mist, miserable clouds for weeks on end teetering between 33 and 55. Then like heaven's gate opening we switch into summer mode. I'll actually met a guy on the gondola at Belleayre this season living my dream. Skiing all winter here and then heads to Phoenix or Florida depending on the year for 5 weeks at the end of March (to avoid the season I just described).
  6. Well... what an ass. How's that for plain? Jesus
  7. Wouldn't know. Not sure I've ever read an entire post. File them in the TLDR folder.
  8. Good write up from Mt. Holly on the early next week potential… However, a front will send more cold air into the region later Sunday, and hot on its heals some guidance depicts a wave of low pressure riding eastward into the region for Monday. With fresh cold air in place, more wintry weather is certainly possible. Guidance is having trouble with handling multiple pieces of energy, with some models showing multiple waves, while others focus on just one, but suffice it to say, there is a risk of wintry weather Monday and Tuesday. One notable trend in our favor is that most guidance does show a warming trend as the system moves through, such that towards mid-week we should mostly be too warm for anything but rain. We may have several inches of snow to get through before then, however. We`ll be watching this one closely for potential headlines.
  9. Yeah, you guys have gotten the shaft several times. I need to add up Westfield again, but IIRC we're somewhere right around 68 to 70
  10. Despite not getting much more than 4-5” Berkshire East skied really well Monday. The cement Friday night helped really establish a decent base. Jug, east glades and several of the off map spots skied best. Patrol dropped ropes on pretty much everything! .
  11. Yearly fee... They used to only be interested in winter weather... But now ask for consultation during all outdoor events, including concerts, graduations, field days, sporting events etc, any disruptive weather event that could impact travel, lightning threats, etc...
  12. The latest 3 Major ensembles each get solid Advisory level snow to all of CTP by Tuesday afternoon. The main takeaway is that we are certainly in the game for an event chance early next week.
  13. There are plenty of aspects of our weather that are cyclical.
  14. Yup. Weather is and always will be cyclical. New York city ended a historic snow drought this year (in a resounding way) but the way some talked prior to January they acted like it would never snow again in nyc. What got lost though is thst that snow drought came on the heals of record snowy 2010s. With me knowing Detroits climate inside and out, I can assure you that everything goes in cycles. We are not the feast or famine climate of the east coast, but there are still many intra-winter trends that go thru the cycles.
  15. It doesn't even look like it's gonna be cold tomorrow.
  16. Has tip ever made a post in plain language?
  17. Caribou only has 68 inches for the winter. Providence , Rhode Island has 67.8 Insane
  18. I’ll probably do the same. March warmth is welcome in my book as fishing season cranks up
  19. Choppy weather most of the day here, but finished in premium fashion. Was kinda mild leaving the gym around 630.
