If I had to make a guess I would say Thursday Friday is a mess, but we get a significant storm for most of us first half of next week. I would imagine that would trend north at this time of year.

You didn't have a blast with all that snow?

I knew this would be controversial lol. Don't get me wrong. That was a legendary winter. I just had more actual fun this winter. Being free of a job during winter definitely added points. I'm a fan of winter. I love cold, frozen lakes, gray cold days, snowcover that doesn't melt. The fact I chased probably added points too. I've experienced 135" of snow and hiked over 100 miles on snowpack/snowcreate. I just REALLY enjoyed the glacier and arctic flow from the nw. I had so many memorable experiences from that. Walking through wetlands on a path of ice (frozen creek) that was sparking like diamonds through the cat tails while surrounded by ridges covered in glistening icepack was surreal and magical.

Ha... this is gon' chap some asses but the 2nd Sunday in March is the 8th this year, the earliest possible date the clocks will be switched ahead by an hour ... On a day that is 74 F? ...while not priceless per se, that's certainly handsomely rubbing it in

Easy to spot the drift measurements in a storm like this up here.

Later update ... CF6 for EWR has been edited to show the 27.2" outcome. That means your top ten for the contest is as shown above. I will wait for the NYC debate to play itself out before editing the table, but in any case I will declare MJ0812 and hudsonvalley21 to be co-winners because of these fluctuations and the fact that MJ0812 retains the lowest total error if not the lowest total error squared. Each of them wins one of the ranking metrics. I won't keep posting about this, just check back in a few days and see what the table looks like then, maybe all five will change and I will have made use of MAID (it's a Canadian joke) ...

That’s good. I was just saying it in a general sense. Gradual melt would be the best thing to occur. . -

Yet the airport at Providence had a depth at midnight last night of 21 inches. Somebody doesn't know how to use a yardstick. Plus there was snow on the ground in most of those locations before the storm started. -

I've never tried this tool but I think this is where you start: https://www.americanwx.com/bb/media.html/other/?do=form -
Best I can do for you is 15.3” COCORAHS report from this morning for Taunton. 21” here in Centerville, Barnstable (pretty challenging to measure so +/- a few inches on either side). No power, no cell service since 5AM yesterday. Need to drive on Route 28 for cell service to improve. While we are on the topic, pet peeve is Broadcast stations using reports form 2PM yesterday for their snowfall graphics.

Thanks Don, I note that CF6 has been adjusted already and shows the same (10.1+17.1) total of 27.2" for Newark.
-
because its a weak POS wave...who cares if we miss 2" of snow! Had the wave been more amplified it would have hit us. If it is that weak I don't even care.

LOL.

unless you're controlling wx outcomes, it's not trolling. lol we all have preferences - if you don't like heat, it's equally not trolling hoping for cool. it's just people are over-sensitive and neurotic since they can't control outcomes

These weather apps are making us look way worse, it's getting out of control - they shouldn't have accumulations. I'm getting messages about 15-20" of snow next week. Some fake news weather account made a map for 15-20" of snow next week which is freaking everyone out, but on top of that, the Iphone weather app has 18-23" for Seymour Monday night into Tuesday. -
That 6.5" for South Portland is a mile up the road. Must've had about .20" more QPF than me . 4.8"/0.43"
