March through September has been a pretty warm stretch for your area also. Only May was slightly cooler in your area. It was the 5th warmest March 1st through September 26th there since the new airport site opened in late 1999. For some reason there is quite a bit of data missing from before that time. So it makes it harder to compare to the older days before 2000 with so many data gaps. .18 rain yesterday, .06 so far today. Went to reading yesterday afternoon and it was miserable driving with that heavier rain and wind down that way.

I'm ready to be disappointed again with this supposed surge of moisture coming this week.

.67 here so far. Just some small branches and lots of leaves scattered around. Had a few gust of around 30 or so late last night but otherwise uneventful.

Picked up another .40" today for a two day total (so far) of .93" Wind, of course, was insignificant in my backyard, with a peak gust of only 13.4 mph which occurred this morning. We had dinner last night at the Thunderhead Lodge on top of the Blue Mountain on 309 last night, and the wind was howling up there at 1,300 ft.

This small drop stuff adding up, can only imagine just to my SW in that fire hose.

But we tried to tell you that…and Kevin has alot less rain than a lot of us CT peeps.

Yup…the tropical ones have certainly delivered for us inland folks. Other than that it’s tough 99% of the time.

I think that’s why the long range models continue the WWBs and the extreme east based nature of this event right into next June.

Sure. But that was 76 years ago. Those clearly don't walk through the door often. A good tropical storm could bring inland winds. Outside of that, or the extreme event you mention, it probably ain't happening inland. I'm talking about legit 60+ mph frequent gusts, not a wintertime fropa that brings strong but sub-severe gusts.

in your defense? if you looked at the models you would know they all had a bullseye over your head
