    Totally agree. Hadn’t watched the Atlantic wave but a well timed CCKW and MJO should open our window in the first week or two of June.

    Miserable..at least we got a few breaks of sun earlier today but this has been a rough stretch for many. It’s gonna feel like a legit heat wave when we finally surpass 70 again this week.

    Another incredible day for the lowlands. 73/50 today with mostly sunny skies. This afternoon's walk was immaculate again. This is by far one of the nicest Memorial Weekends in a long while around here. Tomorrow, another beauty in the works! Upper 40s to mid-50s for lows and low to mid-70s for highs with some upper 70s in spots. Mostly sunny by the afternoon. Glorious

    Soon we are due to go negative AMO. Keep in mind soon is measured in years. Here is a smoothed chart from an energy climate page. Yes, some energy companies acknowledge it. We better, if our demand forecasts are going to be worth anything. Then the PDO has been a little flaky. It faked out cool phase a few times since 2000. Will it be able to hold? Perhaps the warmer background makes it harder to stick. So, I'm very curious how the AMO goes in the coming decade. Both negative could be epic winters!

    I took a little Sunday drive to South Pittsburg, Tenn. No it's not far. South Pittsburg shelfies! Separately thank you to all Veterans to who serve(d). Especially we remember those who are fallen for our freedom.

    Yeah at a certain point there is now where left to put the cars. I was just thinking this would be a pretty epic pattern in winter. A nice snow storm Thursday followed by days and days of heavy snow squalls.
