  1. Past hour
  2. I'm not super concerned with our snow chances, just might not be any big storms for now.
  3. Active pattern but SNE definitely playing with temp issues the next 10 days. Hoping we can at least get a redeveloping clipper in the next two weeks. I think inland areas are good for a light 1-3" next week. I admit it's been a bit dissapointing starting the month with a warning snowfall and still being stuck at 6.5" but definitely a workable pattern if things break right.
  4. Definitely shorter residence of warmth and overall a colder look on the 0Z guidance so far.
  5. Got up to 61 here and the wind was crazy, not expecting it.
  6. I assume they put down more salt to account for the quick temperature drop and freeze up? Ended up with 1.3" here. Had some heavy downpours at times. Got a burst around 3:30pm or so with crazy heavy rain for maybe 3 minutes.
  7. I dunno, but the (EAWM,East Asian Winter Monsoon should be coming up which could possibly shift the HP into Siberia, with troughs extending into East Asia into the Pac,im just gonna use the EPS I.E,this could seemingly change the pattern as we get into the New Year, for how long, really have no clue
  8. Gfs is 2 to 4 for most around and north/west of the city
  9. Snowshoe is ALWAYS getting demolished! Doesn't it EVER stop snowing up there? https://www.snowshoemtn.com/media-room/skidder-slope-live-cam
  10. gfs and ggem look decent for 12/23 well away from coast.
  11. Surface, bad. Pack…just fine and still well above normal here. Don’t think tonight and tnrw will fix the surface as much as once thought, but by mid week, back in business…at least for jay. .
  12. Tries to get a low going off the coast too. Borderline temps down your way but definitely a better run. Need other guidance to follow though.
  13. Light coating of snow tonight. Some flurries flying currently.
  14. For all my haters out there, here’s a positive for you. Gfs took a big step towards something better with the clipper
  15. Warned squalls crossing the international border. There's a good amount of zonal motion with this squall, somewhere like Plattburgh or SLK could get an extended period of heavy rates
  16. Missed the changeover when I was at a Christmas party. Came home to a light coating and an icy driveway.
  17. Got back to Springfield to a coating of snow
  18. I don't see any evidence of fresh salt chunks but all the roads look salty too me and I'm confused how lol.
  19. Yeah that is the period to watch until a pattern shift. Definitely a lot of rumbling about some sort of wave rolling through. But the blocking situation or whether we get a good 50/50 or not is just super far from getting resolved.
