Got lucky with another shower band moving through.....nice yard soaking and pollen eraser. About .4 at this time.

Yep the valley torched 85-90, we avoided any ocean influence until basically today, and everything really exploded. We're always the furthest ahead this time of year. The Hartford/Wethersfield area on 91 is basically full blown leaf out.

Like clockwork the soaking rain that was forecast will be almost nothing.

At the same time you can already notice a pattern change,you can actually see this in East Asia as the MJO goes into the WH into the IO,you see more troughs,we should see a wetter pattern as we get into the 3rd week of April upcoming and more than likely into May

I went to Agawam this afternoon and the difference between here and there is pretty crazy. a bunch of trees already with leaves and flowers blooming while here trees are just starting to bud..
