Power is out at home. Still no estimate on its return. -
It was definitely a unique sound and loud. Almost like multiple crashes/explosions. https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/local-news/meteor-could-be-cause-of-loud-boom-in-northeast-ohio "Cooke said the meteor was moving 44,000 mph"

We certainly heard (and felt it) here. From what I'm hearing it wasn't as loud here as places further east, but it was enough to make me look up and say "What was that?"

As far as continuous snow, yesterday afternoon was probably the heaviest I have seen in a while. I Had probably 3 to 4 hours of snow falling between moderate to heavy. However, when the CAA started, some of those snow blobs might have only lasted 20 to 30 minutes, but it was white out at times. I feel like in my area, It snow probably 3 to 6 inches but the most I actually had laying on the ground was probably about 3/4 of an inch and that was after dark. Also yesterday I posted the HRRR and said for 4 runs in a roll, it had N Knox Co, S Union Co, SW Granger and into Jeff C getting a localized swath of heaver snow in the valley. Here’s the HRRR and the radar… I cant ever get gifs to load but here’s a radar screen shots during the NW flow… That was some of the heaviest snow I’ve seen all year. .

Good-let's get it warm and stay warm. -NAO/AO are worthless late March and especially in April
-
We definitely will dip below the 26 we hit at 7am this morning. It's currently only 41 with brisk winds. Feels like January.

Drove through a squall earlier on 279 and it was a white out. -
Half an inch. It snowed half an inch in one of those 15 minute mini blizzards yesterday evening.

Mo one had their finger on the pulse of how Enceladus impacts the MJO more than Roger RIP to a real one -
You'd finally get your fill of snow! This is what 5.5+ feet of snow looks like. Pretty much standing in the same spot as the late August pic this past Summer. Took some weight off the roof as well. Inside the house is like a cave. EDIT: The lesser snow on the left side of the pic is a path i blew to the propane tank a few weeks back.
-
We had that in our last house, on cold winter days after the furnace shut off after brining house up to temp it would feel cold, so I put in a wood stove, new house has BBHW by propane and like it much better, mini-splits for cooling and heating and a propane heater in the fireplace.

I was born inverted. Imagine the joy that comes from talking about my giant nose. -
The NAO and AO this morning are forecasted to stay positive after showing it possibly going negative a few days ago. Any hope for winter weather in the east south of New England looks to be finished. There will be some brief cold shots but not dramatic.

Here's the verification...ENH was extended too far north in PA but otherwise it looks pretty good to me: -

I don't understand this. If they only blocked your ass, you should still be able to see just fine. -

Just a quick follow up to your (excellent) post - last night's frontal passage ended up verifying a lot of the pre-event hype that people were calling bust on. There were a total of 476 confirmed wind damage reports within the MOD/ENH/SLT areas. Also appears that it's likely that at least one Tornado touched down in Kent County in DE.
