  3. The wizards got hungry over advanced analytics, too. Some of the formulas in “Basketball on Paper” are wild (if you want to have fun, look up “individual offensive player rating”). I get it, it all comes down to points per possession, 3 > 2, a 3 = bucket and a free throw, etc etc, but you gotta put the right talent in place to implement some of these sabermetrics. Not to mention, advanced analytics are descriptive, not formulas that explicitly tell you how to win. Fun and interesting topic, but it can get overused.
  4. Yeah..this was an ugly miss for sure And glad you moved. I wouldn't want you anywhere in my vicinity. You're garbage
  5. That's not true, but we shouldn't get into it here. There is an OT forum if you want to render your opinion
  6. That May 1967 event was epic. 10" of snow Monadnock regions. MWN 24.9" for a record May snowfall. Minor accums into central MA w/ the latest on record flakes in the air many locations, at least going back 60 years. Winds gust as high as 90 mph on the coast and ACK had over 7" of rain. May 1967 among the coldest Mays on record for the NE. BOS was -7 F for the month.
  7. Muslims hate them. Palestinian sympathizers is alot of it now.
  8. More fun with timelapsing my Arnett/southern Kansas footage from last Sunday:
  9. At least CoastalWx gets this consolation "prize!" Very impressive event synoptically. I'll post later on it in more details.
  10. So Scott, did it rain so hard in Weymouth like that time when you lived in Dorchester you were concerned about house flooding?
  11. 69 for high and 57 currently . 4.7” for the month I think nowdays we get more -10 or colder in May and April than any two winter months
  12. I don’t know why ,seemingly so suddenly , there is so much public negativity about Jews. I always hsd friends and Kenp Mill has 4 synagogues with a mile , Best neighbors Ever, dear friends, and they are industrious and frugal to the max. I agree discussion boards are simply nuthouses anymore. Facts just aren’t accepted. Sorry for my improper forum response
  13. I built a fire in the stove! Gonna be a chilly weekend!
  14. There is some evidence that atmospheric pressure gradients are becoming stronger, but I will decline to expound on that in this thread for obvious reasons.
  15. Hermit Lake Shelter at 3,900 on MWN. That’s a healthy late May storm…
  16. That’s actually solid, enough to keep things damp. Only .01” here from a couple one minute popcorn showers. Loved the mix of sun and clouds though.
  17. .05” rain today. Maybe the Blue Angels flying overhead all afternoon kept the rain at bay here.
  18. Despite the fact I'm on nights, this weekend is shaping up to be one of the better Memorial Weekends in recent memory. Sunny, temps that won't be excruciating, a nice breeze (Little breezier tomorrow compared to Sunday), and the May sun will keep it feeling warm. I'm going to try to enjoy the outdoors as much as I can. Today's High was 69F today....Already down into the 50s.
  19. 44 here. Heading for the upper 30s.
