  1. Past hour
  2. I’ll get the hobby level this Wednesday (payday) and I guess we’ll see.
  3. It mentions nothing on the site about it, thats why I was confused.
  4. Some scenes from Jersey City ~1:00 PM
  5. I just looked out again & there is steady light snow falling currently despite nothing showing on radar.
  6. 14" here in Bristol after measuring a few spots. A mix of snow and sleet. 27. Windy and snow is blowing and drifting. Nicest storm here in a while. Did a first pass with the snow blower but will need to do a round 2 tomorrow.
  7. I’m off to bed because I have to work at 4:00 am. I shoveled 4 times and salted so I should be able to make it up the driveway. The snow plow just cleaned my road. It was fun tracking all week and it payed off with at least a foot at my house. Thank you all and we still have plenty of winter for more. And kudos for our detour sign which finally came through for us.
  8. I've got to say before I sign off until the morning, I'm at least 18" here and it's absolutely ripping snow, some of the best of the storm, every time I go out to have a smoke I shovel another inch or more on the same path, and it's dumping, looks like back edge approach tho, maybe some light stuff tomorrow but this has been one of the biggest storms since I've moved here, and depending on how much more piles on maybe top 5 total wise...wow, and 95% fell under 10°, quite impressive.
  9. Thats actually a good question. I’ve seen griteater post it on southernwx, and assumed it was available, but it could be only in the commercial level.
  10. I do agree - just thought you were trolling a bit on the calendar day stuff. But moving past that… You aren’t wrong for tracking that. I like to see high official measurements too because it helps storms be remembered. But even though the past few winters sucked, I actually think we are in a decent “significant storm” period over the past several years: 3.2018, 12.2020 and today were all storms where the general area had a foot-type storm in a lot of places. And today had a lot of spots had considerably more. You shift totals 25 miles south today we are flirting with a top 10 storm. So the actual weather for those types of storms hasn’t been too bad versus what you may expect per climo - it’s just been a little unlucky with the official measurement.
  11. Don’t forget 3/14/23. 30” here just to the west of you.
  12. This snow is blowing all around now. Drifting. looks like a few hours left of this and we’re on to tomorrows snows.
  13. lol I would say that getting thermals right is pretty important lololol
  14. This was one TOUGH storm to forecast. This stuff is not easy. I’m happy with my forecast. Maybe underestimated part of MD, but I’ll gladly accept considering how insane this one was to figure out. Overall, this is an all timer with regards to winter weather for a storm perspective. It’s about to get crazy with the cold following too.
  15. I shoveled 4, 6, 3 and 2. Very unofficial 15". Sleet held off to the very end when it was meaningless.
  16. Higher end totals in EMass will depend on how efficient the ocean enhanced stuff is once this WAA period ends in a couple hours. Given how persistent the fetch has been over the Boston area, I’d say it should produce just fine. I’ve always been a sucker for a good easterly firehose, Mar 2013 remains my all time favorite storm
  17. Patriots vs. Seahawks in Superbowl. Just like in February 1, 2015. And we know what followed.
  18. Very light glaze on railings & powerlines. Trees didn't really look like they accumulated much but hard to tell in the dark. Glad its minimal because I like power!
  19. You accumulated 9.5 but that compacted to 6.5
