  5. Only. 30" today and a trace yesterday. Round one today a certified bust imby. Round 2 looks meh to the west
  6. Picture doesn't do it justice. super dark looking north
  7. Even with sun the atmosphere has stabilized considerably over central NC
  8. You can envision swirling pools and eddies in rivers and gorges where alll you see are pony tails and pony o’s, all tangled up, like a swirling drain
  9. Sun has been out for a couple hours now, 86/73. I'm really hoping for some lightning after dark tonight. Love that!
  10. Yea but seems like once some of them hit Staten Island they’re getting real week
  11. Sun just popped out for a few minutes here, and up to 77.6/71.1, muggy!! Just got split by the first line, and with two tornado warnings close by i am happy about that.
  12. First tornado warning south of Bluefield, WV Guess we can go ahead and say Tornados may actually be possible thus evening.
  13. those storms developing are now southeast of NYC moving that way
  14. Good luck NJ, hopefully flooding isnt too bad.
  15. Got up to 88° earlier, then some brief heavy rain knocked things down to 82°. Already back up to 84°, but the humidity has jumped from 64% to 79%. Steamy out there.
  16. Amazing how there’s really not much east of the Hudson
  17. Yeah I think that shower midday really hurt our temps
  18. Skies in charlitte started clearing up around noon and have been in full sunshine since. The one lone cell looks like the cloud deck is over NE of Meck Co moving SE so charlotte proper looks to have full sun til go time
  19. everything developing and moving so fast can't keep up with the 5 minute updates on Radar
  20. Oh yes . It’s frequent , individual cells are starting to explode.
  21. About to get slammed in the next 30-45 minutes here. We got slammed yesterday too.
  22. I can hear the thunder to the east now after hearing it to the west earlier. Frustrating that torms missing here in all directions. I do see on radar more popping up to the south in Middlesex County, and this time a little more to the west. So there's still some hope of getting clipped by a downpour here this afternoon.
