    As of now looks like ground zero is just south of the south coast. HRRR has 4-6” on Long Island this evening.

    I'm just speaking from a position of purer logic. If the climate is unstable, referring to it ... is riskier than if the climate is stable; specifically with regard to the climate aspect. That said, my op ed on the matter is that I simply don't believe we sustain negative anomalies in the mid level band like that, regardless. However, I don't have a problem with some sort of positive anomaly N though.
