7th warmest of 28 Julys here, AN but nothing special (other than low precip). Actually having a bit of RA, might get 0.10". Forecast was "you're too far north" so it's a small win.

This looked like a sure thing a few days ago..but now it looks like a struggle to get .25-.50 down here. We'll see if the RGEM/Hi-Res are full of shit. Euro would give us something at least.

That map perfectly depicts what I've been saying for about a month now. While it does show 1.5 to 2 inches in eastern Schuylkill, the heaviest rain, if the map were to verify, would be the usual north of I-80/south of I-78 scenario.

To add to the above, this July has featured 15 days with lows of 70 or above. The previous most at the airport site was 11 in 2020.

I noticed that on the morning news futurecast. Last evening’s weather hit showed storms after 4-5pm. This morning had them around 1-2pm.

Anyone ever play the south course of Bretwood GC near Keene?

85-90 Monday.

I don't know about the flies. Seems to be heat related for me. My closest neighbor is a dairy farm about a half mile away and the stench of the silage has been overwhelming in 90 degree heat, too. I'm not in Roxbury- I'm just next door in Woodbury/Bethlehem. But I watched that cell from my hill, passing just south of me. The cloud to ground lightning was severe.

Currently 72 degrees. No rain here. Was yesterday….going to end up being the hottest day of the summer? New York State is getting pounded hard with rain this morning. See what the totals turn out being.
