Another day, another letdown. Ended up with zilch back home. Got to DC just now and it looks like it rained here. The Crape Myrtle in front of the house that I cut down is making a strong comeback attempt. Time to break out the glyphosate.

Areas of the coastal town of Hartford seems to have picked up well over an inch in the showers.
-
Just had a wind gust to 38 mph at my station at Cherry Grove at 7:40 with a strong cell.

After looking at radar, the farther north ya go, the less rain you’re getting. Boston, dit’s new home, hasn’t gotten anything yet.

Definitely looks like tor damage -
lol any discussion of a SSW event in August for the upcoming Fall probably means we are totally fucked.

Really? Enfield (where I work) always got more rain than here. Well, in pop up TS that is. That’s definitely not the case now
-
My mother in law was at her friends in Atlantic Beach. She is saying they had a tornado before. I just got home. Wild ride.

Did the strength of the first line which exploded NYC east and back built caused the second wave in central and north NJ be a nothing burger? Its light to moderate rain at best and restatyed at 650 and ending in 10 minutes. moving fast which has been commented but seems like the energy got sucked out of it.

Impressive damage path from eastern York into Columbia. It's unfortunate that CTP left York and Lancaster counties out of the Tornado Watch. -
