I think I’m going to mark this as a 2.5” snow but it’s honestly a total guess. The sun did an excellent job of vaporizing it off the roads. The only slick spots are shady areas or areas exposed to the wind that are getting blowing snow.

Channel 13 future radar gets the snow up to RIC now. Its been expanding coverage for awhile

That has to be one of the more evil dry slots. Upper level low and coastal have remained 2 separate and discrete events. RDU should get into the ULL action shortly but it's a shame things didn't merge and play nice today.

I am sad though. Wanted to enjoy this major storm, that I built up for days, with my son who’s going off to college next fall. upside is he received an offer to play football at Elizabeth City State next year. I’ll remember 1/31/26 forever.

Looks like I’m going to end up with 7.25 still snowing pixie dust.

Snow is ending, 4.5” in Williamston SC.

This posted this morning but was probably taken a day or two ago. I drove over the bridge this afternoon and those open patches of water in the foreground are closed up. And most of the open water in background is frozen now too.

I trust my brand new weather unit’s accuracy FAR more than Accuweather’s remote pulling their reported temp from who knows where‼️
