  1. Past hour
  2. Looks like about 5 now. No sign of sleet. Just a powdery snow fog. What a beautiful morning. I'm happy about this ice storm today lol
  3. The snow's like sand out there. I was able to clear my front porch off with a broom.
  4. Hard to any measurements with the Wind ESE 16 as it drifting
  5. Still all snow here in very northern tip of Loudoun County. 9 degrees and closing in on 6".
  6. ? Their maps have done nothing but gone up. I think you're reading the ranges wrong. N half of CT is the 18-24" range and southern half is 12-18".... not 12-18/8-12. you are on the boarder of 18-24 in that map.
  7. Just measured. 4.5 inches at 7 am. I measured 3.0 inches at 1 am before calling it a night and swapped gauges 0.34 in it. 1.05 inches when I measured and added together this am. Amazingly heavy sleet falling with an occasional clobbered flake mixed in. Temp is colder than 1 am, 10.6/7.9.
  8. Oh no, Holston. I hope you get it back ASAP. Whatever that flicker was that just happened knocked the neighborhood two down from me out of power. It’s creeping closer and I’m praying. grab your fireball. Body gotta stay warm after all.
  9. If it turns to ZR it would be better to have some sleet accumulation down IMHO.....but I am clearly no expert in snow removal 101
  10. Probably briefly stuck between heavier bands so poor snow growth with rimed flakes. It most certainly is not sleet.
  11. Ground coated in Wading River, light snow, 12f.
  12. 5” officially at 7:25 am. Ashburn. Puking
  13. No, “weeping” trees, which is a very good thing. The glaze must not be significant at all.
  14. Finally steady light snow with a coating.. Nice band getting ready to move in, should be snowing heavily by 8am.. which is about 3 hours earlier than I thought last night ..
  15. The circle by Charlottesville is a sleet white out.
  16. Just woke up. Everything is white outside. Tough to estimate how much has fallen. The deck is a poor place to measure, because the sleet will just fall through the cracks. 16.9/15
  17. In Manassas. Up at 530a with a private snow plow noisily scraping what snow there is in our culdesac. Thank you? Checked our “board” at 7a and between 3.5” and 3.75”. A bit of noise hinting that maybe sleet is eager to introduce itself. Temp has been steady since 530a at 14.
  18. I love tables as a reference to check. I need a bigger one lol. That pic was from a while ago. Just measured 3.3”. Good luck. Just got off phone with nws, they said areas around Lewistown are the most likely winners with 15-20”
