43 right now. Frost seems like a guarantee by morning, the bigger question is will we make it to 32.

Congrats on being retired.

2026-2027 Record-breaking El Nino
raindancewx replied to Stormchaserchuck1's topic in Weather Forecasting and Discussion
Looking at Oct 1-5 for 2015, 2018, 2019, 2023, the blend actually does resemble 2026 in the East. Its different for the West - but much colder nationally in the composite anyway in both warm and cold areas. -
Thanks. Yea, this admin. has killed funding for data......it's why we lost N/CAR1 and the monthly QBO tabular data is no longer updated.

Yea, I found that, but not the super ensemble plot...his data seems to be in flux as he is in the process of moving to that site.

Gotcha yeah Daniel Boone we definitely will be getting beneficial rain from it that’s for sure but yeah will have to keep a eye on downslope winds from this . -
Fall 2026 Medium/Long Range Pattern Thread
Daniel Boone replied to John1122's topic in Tennessee Valley
Hopefully we get beneficial abundant Rain from it but there is a very real possibility of formidable downsloping Winds in the great Valley (particularly the central and northern Valley) unfortunately, if the NHC Current Track and 500 MB Structure then is realized. -
Seeing a bunch of 44-45’s in my neighborhood. We’ll see how much lower it goes.

So sorry for your loss Buddy. I lost mine when I was 24 but sometimes it seems not so long ago and the pain comes back. Praying for comfort.

Carver, so sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and your family.

I haven't been very active here in the last month or two, focusing all my energy on following the White Sox playoff push. It's looking like picture-perfect weather for the Sox to clinch their first ALCS appearance in 21 years tomorrow. I'll be there today (and tomorrow, if necessary).

Down from 60 to 41.

I think my Syosset station runs higher with its DP and my Muttontown station has a more accurate DP compared to ASOS stations. If winds are calm I can see upper 30s happening and potential for mid 30s in pine barrens, etc. Syosset has a DP of 41 compared to Muttontown with a DP of 33 currently.
