  2. I had a hot hand last summer. Mby was green and lush while 10 miles away looked like Stephens City. This summer is still pretty green but I've missed the good stuff. Glen Burnie and Pasadena to my north have had flooding, severe storms, and tornadoes. No fair!
  3. Good grief! I can't even get close to your totals. You are on a heater.
  4. Yesterday we had a high of 92, just missed a nice storm but it did cool it off a bit. Excessive heat warning in effect today. Upper 90's once again. So sick of this heat.
  5. Low of 69 to go along with 1.66” of rainfall. What a month over here.
  6. about to engage paradise mode with endless upper 70s and lots of sun, blessed but feeling for my friends in germantown
  7. The 1.54" I picked up in last 24 hours was most in a 24 hour period for the year so far. Not a record (1.72 in 1994). Boy has it been muggy/humid these past few days! And the 53 mph gust during the 6 pm-7 pm storm also the highest so far this year.
  8. The heat is awful! I was hoping we would be done with it but that was naive of me to even think that would be the case.
  9. My biggest storm was on a day when rain wasn't even in the forecast, while the last two events with more than an inch forecasted resulted in little or nothing. Can't forecast random summer rains.
  10. Some winners in the region. As always in the summer, the cutoffs are brutal.
  11. 0.01 here Surprised the rain gauge registered anything
  12. Didnt see any masks, did see someone roll into the venue holding a Domino's pizza and a sleeping bag which was their version of a plaid blanket. The logistics of getting that pizza to the lawn...probably bought in Pittsfield or Lee, transported, then carried from the parking lot through security and yes they had them open the pizza box for inspection.
  13. I only ended up with .53 in Marysville for this event, but I’ll take it.
  14. Pretty wet up here this AM, and all the way into Boston.
  15. Today
  16. The summer of 1996 was the last time that JFK had over 50 days staying under 80° for a high temperature. 17. I am curious. Are there a lot of mask wearers at Tanglewood?
  18. 64° -DZ 0.05” breezy Kinda feels like mid September
  19. It wouldn't surprise me if it was because the anomalies under the core of that ridge are going to dwarf the cooler anomalies in association with the STJ to the south and east. There is a TON of heat being displaced.
