It does…let’s get a good juicy system to run into the cold. Go out with a good bang.

I think you'd be better off in Boston proper. Encore Boston Waterfront isn't exactly Boston, nor the waterfront, lol.

thank you sir

Looks like we won't see a cool down until almost mid month.

Heading to bed with a pleasant look outside of white pine boob sag.

Occasional Thoughts on Climate Change
WolfStock1 replied to donsutherland1's topic in Climate Change
Yes unlike many of the others Georgia appears to have done a good job picking truly remote sites. Ideally you'd like to see all the sites be like that, since it's usually an average of all sites that's shown (e.g. in the X post). I haven't looked for it, but was just noticing that a lot of the references in this thread to records / high trends are in areas that may be subject to UHI effect. Would be nice to see some for remote sites instead, since IMO that's much more meaningful. -
Has there been a Spring where that doesn't happen? Even 2012 has a hard freeze in April...
-
Temps dropping back in N CT with zr falling . Very interesting
-
Yup…the cold winning out with this. It was supposed to warm up above freezing by mid/late afternoon with this…but it didn’t.
-
Not sure it would be wasting money. It wont germinate until the soil warms up some- it will just be dormant for awhile.
-
Hahaha. Reminds me of this

1) Cumberland is certainly rural: https://www.nps.gov/cuis/planyourvisit/staffordbeach.htm 2)-3) Ichauway appears quite rural, too: https://www.jonesctr.org/about-us/ 4) Colham Ferry appears to be a burb of Watkinsville, a town with only ~3K: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watkinsville,_Georgia#:~:text=Watkinsville is the largest city,County%2C Georgia Metropolitan Statistical Area. ———— What do you think of these 4 as far as not having UHI to worry about?

Yeah it’s gonna take a beating this weekend and early next week. Esp if overnight mins are coming in solidly above freezing. I feel like the damage will be relatively minor until after Friday system passes. Maybe tomorrow gives it a bit of a hit if we can get enough sun and 50s.

Then this. Short walk to Faneuil hall, short walk/uber to TD garden for a game or north end for a good meal. https://maps.app.goo.gl/GvRBWFZ5q2ycDmT17

All of the snow is gone probably next week . I just like the forecasting daily nuances . I am old fashioned. Torches always find ways to get muted when it’s a dirty warmup. Dirty meaning precip/clouds/ fog.

Soil temps are below 45 degrees. You'd be wasting money.
