    You can see the back door front on radar, it’s around the Shinnecock Canal. Enjoying the 65 here while it lasts before more garbage later this afternoon and rain tomorrow.

    We seem to have topped out at 66⁰ here. Pretty steady around 65⁰ at the moment. It's dropped from the mid 60s earlier to the low 50s around Montauk. The cape is in the 40s. This is very April.

    Which models show westerlies "taking over" Enso regions? I ask because after the pending trades and westerly burst, Cfs2 brings back the trades starting around the last week in May.

    Ever since they swapped in the new temperature sensors, PIT's lows are usually no more than about 1F warmer than mine and I'm in the woods. It used to be 2-3, maybe 4F, warmer, but not recently.

    My area did not quite get the 3+" of rain shown on the ensembles earlier in the week, but I'm happy with 2.30". Now we get to deal with four days of cold before the warmth and action returns.
