.HYDROLOGY...
AS OF 450 AM WEDNESDAY...

FLOODING CONCERNS WILL CONTINUE TO GROW THROUGH LATE WEEK... LIKELY
PEAKING SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY. THE LATEST SUITE OF GUIDANCE SUGGESTS
THE LIKLIHOOD OF 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN WITH LOCALLY 5+ INCHES FOR THE
PERIOD BETWEEN FRIDAY AND SUNDAY. THERE ARE FORECASTS OF MUCH MORE
THAN THESE NUMBERS INDICATE. THIS WOULD BECOME PROBLEMATIC AS 1 TO 3
INCHES OF RAIN TODAY THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT... WHICH DOES NOT
INCLUDE THE AFOREMENTIONED HEAVY RAIN EXPECTED FRIDAY INTO THE
WEEKEND. ALL TOTALED... THE (QPF) FOR THE 5 DAYS ENDING 12Z/MONDAY
RANGES UPWARD OF 7+ INCHES FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA.
WITH THE GROUND ALREADY BECOMING SATURATED FROM THE PAST 5 DAYS OF
RAINFALL UPWARDS OF 2-5 INCHES OVER PORTIONS OF THE NORTHERN
PIEDMONT... THE RISK OF FLASH FLOODING AND RIVER FLOODING WILL BE
GROWING IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS WITH ADDITIONAL RAINS.

Nothing like that here.... that line got it's act together along 95... Just to our East. We had light rain/sprinkles.

I'm just east of Farmville and dopplar is showing 4-5 inches over my neck of the woods already in just a couple hours. This is gonna get ugly cause this line isn't moving much at all.

Dang, Shaggy! And the 'rain' hasn't even gotten started yet!! This is going to end up being far wore than most are expecting.

Yes, Cold Rain....this has backfilled quite nicely from an observation point of view. I thought we were done for a while when the initial line went through earlier.
