Wind is howling...a couple of really big gusts. No instruments to verify. Will report back when I need to get more wood for the fire...meanwhile enjoying the sound of the wind on the windows and a nice cab in hand. Precipitation rate has increased, but snow growth is still horrible. Around an inch on the ground. If you look at enhanced IR look how warm the cloud tops are over SNE! I think we're getting horrific snow growth in many areas with some graupel and other stuff. That was an average and I am sure it might be off a little but reviewing radar over sw ct and duration its pretty close.
