Typhoon East of Japan with a semi-recurve could lead to a  +PNA in early October resulting in a cooler period. I'll take it .

I don't know...Last year certainly felt more nina to me with the way that late Feb blizzard tracked, and all the NS interference that resulted in the historic sleet bomb. But hey that's just my layman opinion...

I think there are so many aspects of the climate that have changed that it is almost impossible to predict what the result will be.  So many variables.........
