I’ve never had an August 1st that felt so much like an October 1st.   Clouds racing overhead, cool, gusty NE winds

Late July 2013 featured a legitimately impressive cold snap, with daytime highs barely reaching 60° in Madison, which was truly October-like. Today, by contrast, temperatures have already climbed into the 70s despite the rain and persistent northeast winds, so it's not really all that noteworthy. Though I suppose it may feel that way after the hot July we just had.

Event total of 1.98" here.  Definitely much appreciated.

Biblically the wettest start to August ever here. A harbinger of what's to come for the entire month, perhaps?

Toledo had 1.51" of rain on Aug 1-Aug 2. There were non-thunderstorm areas that stalled in the middle of the night/morning hours. Areas of 1" to 3" hit the area. It was much needed. My area got missed by rain a few days ago, with the SPC 30% wind risk.

1" is with some of the lighter green colors
