Pretty seasonable wx here in town the next few days with highs in the 70's, and a Lake breeze from the E/NE. Only picked up a few hundredths of rain yesterday as it petered out. Next chance looks to be Mon night into Tues morning.

Heavy rain and some rumbles of thunder this morning, but it's been clearing out over the past hour or so, up to 81/72 at CVG. interested in what this line coming from our west will bring

Late July 2013 featured a legitimately impressive cold snap, with daytime highs barely reaching 60° in Madison, which was truly October-like. Today, by contrast, temperatures have already climbed into the 70s despite the rain and persistent northeast winds, so it's not really all that noteworthy. Though I suppose it may feel that way after the hot July we just had.

Wind screaming in at Wrigley at like 30 mph looks chilly

Rain kind of screwholed me, only .66" when areas on all sides of me had 2"+.

THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 2.19 INCHES SET IN 1953.

Toledo had 1.51" of rain on Aug 1-Aug 2. There were non-thunderstorm areas that stalled in the middle of the night/morning hours. Areas of 1" to 3" hit the area. It was much needed. My area got missed by rain a few days ago, with the SPC 30% wind risk.

1" is with some of the lighter green colors

Barely made 70 today on stiff E breeze.

Cloudy day with temps around 70 with a light Lake breeze again. Temps should be a little warmer coming up with a W wind.
