There is a pocket to my east of less smokey air as Barrie ON was at 180 last check, unfortunately its not moving my way it is only sagging south to Oshawa. I'm still around 380 but I'm on Day2 of this shit and trust me its far worse than you think it is sustained for this long. I'm a healthy adult who has tried to remain indoors (I briefly went out) and I'm feeling ill effects I know are from this. You almost want to buy a good air purifier and stow away in the basement somewhere.

Smoke got worse. AQI now in the 200's here. I can't imagine how much worse it is to the north and west. Woof.

Dews have dropped into the 50s over northeastern IL in the midst of that smoke.  Still mid 70s here out west.

Really incredible smoke plume. Its made its way to the DC area. Readings similar to whats in the great lakes. And yeah no birds singing here either.

After avoiding the worst yesterday, we are in the thick of the smoke here. AQI over 400. Smells nasty.

I told you you didn't want anything to do with what was north of you.  Hanging out in the mid to high 400's overnight.  Looking for relief later today.

Conditions up here have improved quite a bit since yesterday. AQI in Mqt is 176 with rain showers moving in.  Probably not out of the woods with the smoke tho.

Blessed to have traded AQI for Dews. I’ll take an AQI of 56 with a 70 DP over what we endured yesterday.

Its awful here still, we are at 1 1/4SM with the smoke and the AQI is around 400 still.

Much better here than yesterday, but still higher AQI in the 500's around DLH. Rains heaviest up on the border where they really need it with some passing showers here in town. Not quite out of the woods yet.

looks like we'll get lucky enough to avoid most of it in the cincy metro, aqi around 110 here. just north in middletown, dayton, columbus, seeing readings in the 500-600 range, though.

AQI at 371 and visibility at 1 1/4SM as of Noon. May very well be dealing with smoke and low visibilities the entire day today, especially with storms coming later that day. Certainly some June 2023 vibes going on.
