Honestly amazed at how poorly BGE has performed at power restoration with yesterday's storm. Very slow to give any kind of estimate and now it's been bouncing back and forth between later today and Tuesday night. thankfully we have the generator going for the refrigerator.

        They evolve differently, but the HRRR and NAM Nest both like the I-95 corridor in MD around or just after sunset.

Mesonet shows a nice convergence zone running north/south through Howard and Carroll County. Maybe that's the focus for later?

Yeah, the HRRR develops storms in that general vicinity.  NAM Nest develops convection over northern VA

I really hope so. I am very close to just giving up on my deck plants once again for the summer. It was just today while out that I noticed that the grass has really started to go burnt and even my drought tolerant garden beds are looking stressed.

I just went out around Prince Frederick and it's beat up - lots of trees down.  A house a couple doors from us has two big pine trees down in their back yard.  One smashed a recreation area they set up and another narrowly missed their fire pit.  Another tree is down with the top partially in the street.

I want more rain but keep the severe please!  My AC (heat pump) wouldn't start when the power came back on last night and I was getting worried.  I finally read that I needed to turn it off at the thermostat, the breaker box, and the switches by the unit in the basement and leave off for a half hour; some kind of system reset.  That worked

dews back in the upper 70s - DCA briefly again hit a heat index of 110F (95/77) at 4:25pm.  So now five straight days of this lol.

Got some action developing along a boundary moving westward from the ocean/DE bay. A cell just north and more developing just south(typical lol) Looking like some northward movement. We shall see. Hearing thunder now.

The cell in Southwest Delaware has elongated and has grown larger.  The area is moving North Northwest.

PWAT from the LWX 20z Balloon was 1.89” and these storms aren’t moving anywhere fast.

Some nice cracks of thunder and a decent downpour. Won't last long but at least on the board.
