And I had to deal with beavers damming a stream behind my property so that about 20 acres of my property ended up flooded for days - fortunately not the section that the houses are on! Fun times. I’ll take some drought now…

Now see those Bretton Woods stations at 7-9”, that’s wild. Beavers or not, that’s gotta be near flash flood in some of those inches.

I can't even bring the dog to his favorite swimming hole. The river is running so high the beach and the swimming hole are gone and the water is almost up to the top of the bank

You know, this is a New England forum, so all wx in the region is relevant. Maybe we should start a forum called:"5 SM Radius Weymouth - ACATT"

But if Weymouth does not get the absolute max pcpn for the event in SNE, it will be "MEH!"

Yeah, I’ll be honest, when I looked at Cocorahs last night, it didn’t have yesterday’s rainfall added in. I hadn’t looked yet today but I’m sure another 1-2” was added everywhere up north. Up at Mansfield, our Mtn Operations station showed 3.03” from this recent “event.”

Fortunately it’s been just below the threshold for flooding for us, although it’s been enough to take out of the the riverside trails on my property. But could have been much worse
powderfreak
Another 0.5-1.0” around the area today. 0.78” here. Looks like the I-89 corridor south of here saw the more consistent 1” totals. The heavier initial convergence band has slinked south, but there’s moisture stacked to Hudson Bay that’s going to be advected south into the NW slopes of the Appalachian chain all weekend. Can’t catch a break on these weekends.

Also they do snow and severe better than us Best I can tell, the 3 spinners in VT this year so far is the most the state has had in a year on record, at least since 1975. Due to over-reporting after the 1953 ORH spinner through 1974 and the concept of a microburst not realized until the early 70s, I would not consider records before 1975 reliable. Of course, it wasn't until the mid 90s when we really started to detect and document much better what actually occurred for tors given the installation of WSR-88Ds and the NWS MAR. WxWiz be like be"MEH!" LOL.

Spring was rough--SLK was a ghost town in April--but my goodness it's wonderful up there. Just need to get a good squall line day up my way to complete it. 4 minutes ago, vortex95 said: Best I can tell, the 3 spinners in VT this year so far is the most the state has had in a year on record, at least since 1975.
