There was a storm in February around 2006’ish that was lame during the day and then after sunset the coastal got going and it dumped for hours from Baltimore and points northeast. Anyone recall that?

Once temps crashed, I ended up with over a foot of powder, but the sun flattened it to half that the next day.

I was away in college, but there was a blizzard in feb 2006?

Yup. Major deform band. Just west and northwest of the city got the goods. Randallstown reported 20. I got about 16 in Reisterstown at the time.

Nope... that snowed and snowed all day.  There was a state of emergency declared and all traffic was mandated off the road by 6PM

lol it's 70 degrees here. If 10 degrees means blizzard for North Carolina, and 70 means blizzard for the Eastern Shore.. looks like I've gotta be 105F leading in?

I’m not sure. I feel like that happened in a smaller storm that froze at sunset.

I think it was the February 12, 2006 storm because there was a girl at my house that weekend and I was ready for her to leave, but because of the storm, she stayed an extra two days. Talk about a snowstorm buzzkill…
