Light snow and 33 here in the sw LV. Just starting to dust non-paved surfaces. I have a feeling I’m going to be rather jealous of the snow totals coming out of Jersey tonight!

Steady, blowing snow for the last 2 hours or so. Not much accumulation yet, would characterize it as further ground whitening. Should be a nice primer for the heavier stuff to pile up on. Driveway just starting to cave in spots.

This gradient might be an all timer. I think legitimately you could drop some winter storm warnings in Berks/Lehigh while just south in Bucks they might get 10+ inches

I would expect so. Heavy, wet snow and wind, a perfect recipe.

Coming down nicely here, 35F. A coating plus, even parts of the driveway starting to cave. Nice to get some reinforcements for the snowpack remnant!

Just think how lucky you’ll be tomorrow when you can simply use a broom to brush away your light accumulation while the rest of us are digging out from feet of snow.

Just 20 minutes since my last post, Snow is picked up and intensity and starting to accumulate more substantially on the grass and starting on the paved surfaces. Trying to nowcast this is still difficult looking at the radar.

Satellite hallucination warning....loop it and stay focused on the western portion of the low. Looks like its getting tugged west. Probably just the 'eye' expanding but cool loop anyway.

Its early but it just seems like the heavies are really struggling to progress west. We are on schedule with the change over. Snow is picking up in intensity.

Seeing a few posts about the coastal originating further west than modeled. Which always seems to be a wieney mirage in a storm like this. But if this is true you would think the hrrr would pick up on that and correct back west with some of the heavier totals. Its steadfast in the Berks and Lehigh area on the outside looking in.

Will be interesting to see unfold. To those of you well west of me, congrats and enjoy your blizzard! If you dont mind, send some of it our way lol.

Have between 2 and 3 inches while waiting for the next band to pivot overhead here shortly. Some of the best rates I’ve ever seen in that fist band.

Flakes consistent now. I think this one will meet but not exceed expectations 6-10"+ is still my forecast for Downingtown work, BCMR, and my house.

 Nothing earth shattering one way or the other. Continues to pivot the western banding feature over eastern pa for several hours tomorrow morning.
