The euro and ai ensembles increased QPF over the Mid Atlantic into NJ. Shaved a bit near and north of NH border. Maybe it’s trying to mature it down there more.

Doesn't look like much of a trend at all at my latitude...

Ya good call Scott, it's almost like it's a full 24-36 hours behind gfs trends, GFS is trending more NE while EURO just starting to see that Jersey max

Here is your back bent WF on euro. Goes from center of H7 low and curls near ack and off Chatham. Can see that on the kinks of the height lines.

on the 3k Nam check out that moisture train feeding into SNE. The real mid level dynamics verbatim on this snap shot are in NJ, but that is a pure gravy train on the 3k Nam. Eventually you do get the mid level forcing, but with such a deep cutoff…that moisture train looks impressive.

it’s just something I noticed. There will still be deformation bands etc.

That's a concern for the real weenie rates in SNE.  Will the peak RI well to the S initially preclude Bliz of '13 "everything falling out of the sky" rates!?  Once deep occlusion takes place those wild rates come down.

Yeah, not trying to spam the forum with maps.  Just points of comparison - those seem to be recently updated in the last couple of hours.  Some other sites are still showing maps from this morning...

They’ll be to the border at least by morning . 50-65 mph and S+

To be honest, I was surprised that Blizzard Warnings were issued a little further inland towards southern Worcester County.  BUFKIT profiles for ORH show 45-50 knot wind gusts from 2 am to 9 am Monday & 40 knot wind gusts from 10 am to 2 pm or so Monday.  Definitely would fit criteria for Blizzard (35-plus mph frequent gusts & visibility 1/4 mile or less in snow/blowing snow for at least 3 consecutive hours).

Ya we have to just take this all in and enjoy - epic stuff being modeled.. We have to realize a low pressure around 970 mb will most likely go just inside the benchmark in the next 36-48 hours, wild things are going to happen..

Running it this afternoon

I just ran mine. Good to go.

16 to 18 foot waves here. Only bested by provincetown with 18 to 20 footers.

Wow.

Thanking the weather gods its not a full moon tide or we would be cooked.

Hope everyone near the coast has their generator prepped and gas ready to go.

I dont see how we could get through this without power outages

I don't, but have some firewood ready. Eversource has typically done ok in this area getting power restored in reasonable time. Hopefully this won't be worse than Oct 21, Jan 22 but it could be
