OBS: 1/25-26 Snow/Sleet

Mixing in is different from so warm at all levels that it's definitely sleet, the warmth has been marginal all day. Also the NAM had mixing on several runs to near I84 which didn't seem to come close.

Snow growth must have been crappy up there after this morning.

The cartop accumulations here all have this same odd pattern on the sides. As if worn down by the sleet.

No sleet up here. Pure Powder with a high temp of 8°.

That's impossible. Must have somehow gotten to 32 from snywx land to Boston? I thought it was guaranteed 20-1 ratios when temps were in the single digits and teens? No freaking way!!

Last measurement for the night 15.8 inches. 42.1 inches now for the season, by morning I may have reached the seasonal normal.

Seems accumulations have been as high or higher in Central Westchester/Rockland than places like I84, surprising but shows how random these things are with banding/snow growth.

Totally happy with 11" in Brick. Not bad considering we went above freezing with pure rain for a while but no significant melting. Temps dropping now. Will be solid ice pack by morning.

I was surprised to look out and see real snowflakes swirling all around for a few minutes.  Almost moderate snow.  Back to a light pixie dust mix now.

Around 11” total here in Hillsborough. More than I expected and temp never got above 18 even though we had 6-7 hrs of sleet. Probably 1.5” of sleet?

my snow blower piles in areas are well over 2.5’. Aint going anywhere for weeks
